Nu Vending are very proud to announce the definitive list of the 10 best biscuits available on the market today. Using a strict criteria of ‘taste’, we’ve narrowed down the huge variety of biscuits available in shops to give you the certified, official top 10. Don’t listen to any other biscuit ranking systems; they don’t know what they’re doing.
10. Chocolate Bourbon
A certified classic, but despite its veteran status, it can’t match some of the newer offerings, as well as certain contemporaries. Its chocolate flavoured though, so it makes the top 10.
9. Custard Creams
Another classic, but only classic enough to make 9th place on our list. A favourite of grans and grandchildren alike – not many things can say that.
8. Ginger biscuits
This might be a surprise inclusion to some, but not to us. Tasty with an instantly recognisable tang, it’s the perfect accompaniment to a cup of tea or coffee or ideal for eating an entire pack by yourself.
7. Viennese Whirls
Is this technically a biscuit? Or is it a cake? Or a full-on dessert? Whatever it is, it’s delicious. 7th place.
6. Chocolate Digestives
An institution of a biscuit, but you don’t get points for being an institution. You do get points for being tasty and dunkable though.
5. Hobnobs
What is a Hobnob? What do they taste of, exactly? Nobody knows, but one thing’s for sure: they are delicious.

3. Oreos
What are we doing, including an American biscuit in this list, you ask? Well, Oreos are delicious, whether you eat them in one (normal) or split them and eat them in parts (rather odd).
2. Lotus Biscuits
If you have a biscuit that is so delicious it gets turned into a spread, you’re onto a winner. Heard of Rich Tea spread? We didn’t think so. Lotus biscuits are elite.
1. Jaffa Cakes
Yes, Jaffa Cakes are biscuits. Yes, we know their name has “cake” in it. But they are biscuits. Not only are they biscuits, they are the best biscuit on the market. No other biscuit ranking system matters, so listen to us when we say: Jaffa Cakes are number 1.
