In our the final Nu Vending festive how to make drink videos, we’ve gone full-blown “Christmassy” and are talking eggnog. This is a true tradition and definitely worth a try if you’ve never tasted one.

Ingredients you’ll need to make eggnog

  • You will need (ingredients list + utensils tools, etc.)
  • 50g caster sugar
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 397g can of condensed milk
  • 100ml brandy

 

How to make eggnog

  • Pour 75ml of water into a saucepan and turn your saucepan up to medium heat
  • Combine 50g caster sugar with your water
  • Stir the sugar until it dissolves, then simmer – be careful not to boil
  • Take your pan off the heat, cool and chill for use later
  • Add eggs to the mixing bowl
  • Add 1tsp of vanilla essence
  • Add condensed milk
  • Add brandy
  • Add cooled sugar syrup from earlier
  • Whisk mixture carefully until combined 
  • Pour mixture into a jug to chill for at least 2 hours 
  • Serve within 24 hours
  • Please drink sensibly
